Q. When using the Case Trimmer mounted Outside Neck Turner (OT1010), how does it move so it won’t skip turning sections of the neck?
A. Place your left hand on the cam and engage the cam with the small, spring steel, cam follower which you should have already positioned between the trimmer bearing and the gold trimmer base. Use your right hand to provide the “RPM’s” for the turner, while the left hand allows the carbide cutter to feed in smoothly and then out smoothly. In other words, your right hand controls how fast the cutter turns around and around while your left hand controls the critical infeed and outfeed.
