Note for 500-450 Magnum Nitro Express 3-1/4:
Collets #1-#4 for the Original trimmer, are not interchangeable with collets #5-#8 that fit the Classic trimmer. A special Hand Outside Neck Turner would be necessary for turning. Use factory brass, or form from 500 NE 3 1/4 inch or 500 NE Basic brass in proper form die set. Please note that proper bullet diameter is determined by the bore of the rifle. Some rifles are made to .454 to.458 bore (see Cartridges of the World 9th edition) and some are made to .468 bore.(see Custom Cartridges by Ken Howell).
