Classic Case Trimmer & Kit

Larger than our Original Case Trimmer, the Classic was the first production model trimmer on the market to accommodate a large range of classic cartridges. It’s suitable for more than 300 different big bore calibers from popular big game rifles to classic black powder calibers.

The Classic trims case lengths from 1⅞” long through 4⅛” long; shorter cases can be trimmed by mounting on a standard length base. For collectors of vintage firearms, “Cowboy” competitors, and reenactors, owners of fine English single and double rifles chambered in hard-hitting calibers like 500 Nitro Express, .416 Rigby, 50 Sharps, or .475 Nitro Exp, this is the hand case trimmer that will allow accurate reloading.

It is actually a fine miniature lathe with a superior shell holder design based on a Brown & Sharpe type collet. Collets #5 through #8 fit this Classic Case Trimmer and hold the rims of most rifle and pistol calibers within that range.

The default tool, the Cutter Shaft, features four staggered-tooth cutting edges made of high alloy steel that provide fast, smooth, chatterless cutting for perfectly square case mouths. You can also expand your system by adding many “accurizing” Case Trimmer accessories.
